Apply to join ERTOA
There are three different membership types within ERTOA. Two membership types are open to organisations (ERTO Member and Corporate Member), and there is also an individual membership available. Details of these memberships are as follows:
ERTO Member
- The organisation is a legal business entity registered within Australia
- The organisation is currently registered as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- The core business of the organisation is NOT training and development
- The employees of the organisation are the primary target population for the RTO
Corporate Member
- The organisation is a legal business entity registered within Australia
- The organisation is NOT currently registered as an RTO
- The core business of the organisation is NOT training and development
- The core business of the organisation is NOT training and development
- Provide training and development activities in house (non-accredited) or using an external RTO to deliver accredited training
- The employees of the organisation are the primary target population for the delivery of training and professional development
Individual Member
- Is an individual working with an RTO in Australia
- Is an active trainer, assessor and/or facilitator
- Holds relevant training and assessment qualifications
- Holds qualifications relevant to the industry in which training is provided
- Can provide evidence of the above to ERTOA, together with a matrix to confirm competency and currency for the units and/or qualifications delivered (i.e. matrix)
Please contact the ERTOA Executive Officer if you would like to discuss any aspect of the membership criteria. If you or your enterprise is eligible, then applying to join ERTOA is a simple two-step process, as follows:
Step 1
Complete the application form (see options on the right), being sure to include all the requested information. Please select the form appropriate to your application (ERTO, Corporate or Individual).
When you have completed the form, it is submitted to the ERTOA Executive Officer.
Step 2
Once your application is received it will be reviewed and assessed by the ERTOA Membership Eligibility Committee.
If your application for membership is successful, you will be sent an invitation to join and an invoice for the full or pro-rata membership and joining fee.
Fees
Membership runs on a financial year basis and a part year (pro-rata) membership is available if joining during the year. All on-going memberships are invoiced in May for the following financial year.
The initial membership payment consists of:
- JOINING FEE - ERTO & Corporate members $200 + GST
(once only fee upon joining)
- ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE $1,980 + GST
For ERTO and Corporate Members - Due 1 July each year or pro-rata if for partial year
- JOINING FEE - Individual Members $50 + GST
(once only fee upon joining)
- ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE $250 + GST
